Danity Kane are officially back on the music scene as they`ve just premiered their newest single called “Lemonade” which serves as the lead single lifted from their upcoming third album due out later this year, that will follow up their two chart-topping albums "Danity Kane" and "Welcome To The Dollhouse".
The sassy, pulsating R&B single was produced by The Stereotypes( who are responsible for producing their biggest hit to date "Damaged"), it features Young Money rapper Tyga and features a sample of the Clipse's classic "Grindin'". It finds the ladies addressing their haters “Ohh, these haters got a sour ass look upon their face. Lemonade, lemonade, lemonade, lemonade. Ooh, they lookin’ so thirsty, they might just need a drink”.
Perfect comeback single as it reminds us of what made us fall in love with DK to start with, their sassy personalities and the amazing layers to their music, the song will be well received and the chorus is so catchy that you won`t help but sing along.
They co-wrote the track with that talented songwriter Soaky and here`s what she had to say about the group: “When you put together a lot of creative people, it’s like being on a playground. Everyone is just excited. They have a lot of personality. The dynamic between the girls, it’s like sisters. They get along very well, they talk a lot of sh–, but it’s like getting a bunch of girls in a room together. It was a lot of fun.”
