Mariah Carey Sounds Thirsty On Her New Single 'Thirsty'

The legendary R&B songstress Mariah Carey has released a new single called "Thirsty" which is lifted from her forthcoming 14th album titled 'Me. I Am Mariah… The Elusive Chanteuse', due in stores on May 27th. 

"You're thirsty for a dream, leaving me drowning. Boy, there ain't no S.O.S.," Carey sings on The Hit-Boy-produced single, which features rapper Rich Homie Quan.

Let`s keep it all the way real this is truly one of her worse songs to date as degrades her talents on a whole new level because it`s less about making quality music but more about appealing to the new generation and competing with artist like Beyonce but in the most pathetic way because Carey is too old to be singing songs like this, especially poorly written. This woman has accomplished more in her career than any of these new girls in the game ever will so there need for her to lower herself to their level like this.

This era has truly been a hit and miss, mostly miss because the material is not showcasing her at her best and I think she needs to retire or take a long break from the music industry and the spotlight but knowing her, she probably won’t retire anytime soon, she seems stubborn like that but she needs to do it for the sake of her music legacy, she has already delivered two albums that have failed to have any musical  ‘E=MC2′ and ‘Memoirs of an Imperfect Angel’, the next one will sure do the same as it as so far this era.

Al this is said out of love because I simply adore and respect her but she needs to take a break from music and come back stronger then ever.
