Grammy-nominated songstress Jazmine Sullivan has just made her musical return with a hot new single called "Dumb" which finds her teaming up with fellow Philly native Meek Mill, the singles serves as the lead single lifted from her forthcoming third album called "Reality Show" which will follow up her critically-acclaimed sophomore album "Love Me Back".
After a long break from the music industry ,"Dumb" is a perfect reintroduction to the songstress we`ve all come to love, it`s emotional charged mid-tempo number with a drum heavy syncopation and militant choral chants which all create a great foundation for her lace up the track with lyrics that find her letting her man know that she won’t tolerate any more of his bullshit : “I know you know you ain’t right. Please stop, I know where you was last night and if you’re gonna lie, then at least be good.”
She delivers a raspy vocal performance that has a buttery tone to it, while Meek Mill delivers a good verse that adds more interest to the track.
