Igor Morski is a polish painter, illustrator and graphic designer who creates some of the most amazing surreal artwork that showcase his creativity in such a powerful way. It’s the kind of art that makes you do a double-take and makes you think about the message in his artwork.
Two of my favourite artworks from his collection are: A stunning illustration called “Birds”, that sees a human figure with a bird`s head , sitting in a nest surrounding by little babies. The tone of the artwork is very warm and the layout is inspired by the natural relationship between a bird and her baby bird.
The second one is called “Pinocchio” that was inspired by the fictional character from children's novel “The Adventures of Pinocchio” . A story about a wooden boy that sees Pinocchio. His wish that Pinocchio be a real boy is unexpectedly granted by a fairy. The fairy assigns Jiminy Cricket to act as Pinocchio's "conscience" and keep him out of trouble. Jiminy is not too successful in this endeavour and most of the film is spent with Pinocchio deep in trouble.
