Mapei Premieres Lyric Video For “Change”


American born - Swedish based artist Mapei came on my radar when she released her single "Dont Wait" last year, which features a fusion of soul, soulful electro and also a bit of rap too. The song was a great platform for her to move forward with album "Hey Hey" which is due out on September 23rd, she recently released the second single called "Change" that is accompanied by a lyric video.


The catchy single is produced by Magnus Lidehäll who provides an anthemic production that creates a great foundation for her to showcase her incredibly emotive and raw vocals as she sings about love, life and acceptance. The lyric visual was directed by Phillipe Grenade and Jarret Egan who filmed residents of New York City holding pieces of cardboard with the lyrics to “Change” scrawled across them.
