Watch: Scandal, Season 4, Episode 16 - ‘It’s Good to Be Kink’

This episode of “Scandal” is called  ‘It’s Good to Be Kink’ it explores the double standards women face as they venture into different areas of sexuality. Liv is called upon by Abby to fix Leo, who will be mentioned in a tell-all book. The writer is a woman named Sue (Lena Dunham) who has dated many of D.C.’s power players, many of whom have a taste for kinky sexual encounters.

Liv tries to shut down the book by slut shaming Sue, telling her that she’s violating the men in her book, men Sue chose to give pseudonyms instead of using their real names. Liv went in on Sue the way she did Amanda Tanner in the show’s first episode. That didn’t end so well for Amanda. But Sue sticks up for herself, calling Liv a weak, dried-up prude. If someone’s willing to hire Liv to stop the book, they’re willing to pony up cash to do so. Sue wants to get paid. Her reasoning: if she’s going to be called a whore, she should at least get paid for it.
