When Britney Spears is not falling over the stage while lip-syncing her heart out and performing a tired dance routine, she is in the studio trying to stay musical relevant after delivering her weakest musical offering with that Britney Jean project back in 2013. She has resurfaced with her newest single "Pretty Girls" featuring Iggy Azalea, the song was penned by the British girl-group Little Mix, it features a smooth old-skool urban sample that perfectly reflects the summer time but the song falls short when it comes to it`s leading star Spears who sounds a hot mess, overly auto-tuned and childish and a little forced.
Iggy clearly carried her throughout the song, her parts were actually good but overall the track is far groundbreaking, pretty average sounding. When it comes to Spears it seems we should always expect and accept half ass musical offerings. "Blackout" was Spears last best offering before she settled to being average and switching off the lights behind her eyes.
