The legendary songstress Mariah Carey has recently released her newest single “Infinity” which will appear on her re-vamped greatest hits album which has been titled ‘#1’s to Infinity’ and will be released on May 18th: "I’m going to do my first ever residency in Vegas at Caesars. This is a special event for me. And again, I have to hope that the fans will enjoy this cause I’m gonna be performing, which was kind of inspired by my album #1’s, and this is now the updated version with eighteen of them. Hopefully other people will enjoy this. I’ve never done this before.."
She will be premiering the music video for the record within coming days which has been directed by her long-time collaborative director, Brett Ratner.
“Infinity” sounds like the B-side to her single "Thirsty", it`s lukewarm record at best as she is so capable of doing so much better than these records, she seems to be losing her touch. I would love to see her working with Timbaland, Shea Taylor, Lamb, The Dream and also team up with Missy Elliott once again and work with songwriters such as Elle Varner, Jazmine Sullivan, Sevyn and Andrea Martin to create some quality music again.
