Bish What?: LaPorsha Renae Sounds Off On Beyonce`s CMA Awards Performance

Hello music lovers, it`s Zion here.

I`ve been so busy lately that I`ve not been posting as much as I used to but I`m  trying my very best to balance everything out so i give you some honest reviews and real opinions and s***. So let`s kick it all off with one the biggest topics that has had everyone and their mothers talking which is Beyonce`s performance of "Daddy Lessons" on the CMA awards this past weekend. The song is lifted from her sixth chart-topping album "Lemonade" which saw her stepping all the way out of her comfort zone and displaying more layers to her and her artistry, gaining her universal critical acclaim.

The performance saw her teaming up with country band Dixie Chicks who took shine to the song since the album dropped. This pairing prove to a success as they delivered a stunning performance with alot of energy and their band was simply amazing.  But some fellow country artists felt that her performance was not needed as she is not a country but they fail to understand that she was nominated for her country song "Daddy Lessons" which features all the elements of what a country song is, it`s just sung by a BLACK artist which is unacceptable in the eyes of racists and ignorant individuals. Which is funny to me as most of the music out here was created on the backs of BLACK people, the minute they honor their roots people get in their feelings and even our own people failed to understand do that as well. For example American Idol Season 15 runner-up La’Porsha Renae took it on herself to post up a video talking about how she felt that Beyonce`s performance was not COUNTRY.

“I didn’t feel like that dress matched that song. I didn’t feel like her movements matched that song. It was confusing — and people couldn’t even grasp the beautiful message of that song. She was thrusting her hips and popping her butt. Country people — I don’t even think they do that. They didn’t like it because the essence of country wasn’t there.”
Firstly Beyonce is from Texas and she is extremely country and owns her roots, her outfit and her movements throughout her performance just showed that she was having a great time entertaining people and LaPorsha is acting like she was out her popping her pussy and shit, girl have a stadium full of seats as you have yet to start your own career and you already in some bad press and your opinion like many of others is all about boxing artists from expressing whatever music they want to do, in their own way.

Beyonce being one of the BIGGEST artist out here she will forever be a target for whatever she does, even more now that everyone finally know she is black and can`t be boxed like many artists have accepted to be. I honestly wish mutherfuckers would educate themselves before they open their mouths on topics that they don`t know shit about and stop overacting over the smallest stuff as music is one the beautiful things in the world that connects us all, we just need to educate ourselves on it`s history and give artist props if they are out here creating quality music.

Sidenote: "Lemonade" crosses alot of boards to other genres which is why she is on a country award show performing a country, yet she been up there performing "Sorry" I would their anger but this right here is nothing more than pure ignorance on so many levels.
