Interview: Chrisette Michele Talks New Album, Patti LaBelle, Lorde And Hipster Culture

R&B songstress Chrisette Michele recently sat down with Radio.com for an interview, where she opened up about her musical teachings as she never planned on doing R&B because she grew up listening to Alternative Rock thinking she would lead that way until her label introduced her to mentored by the legendary songstress Patti LaBelle who pushed her to bring out the best in Michele and helped her find her lane in R&B music.

She also opened up about working on next her new album called "The Lyricist Opus" and talked about getting involved the upcoming season of TV One's "R&B Divas: L.A." and talked about other stuff, check it all out below.
