Blige, Christina Aguilera, Katy Perry and Britney Spears, among others. Now she is stepping into the spotlight once again as she purses her own shot at stardom with the premiere of her debut EP "Miss Ester Dean".
The 6 track EP features great mixture of sounds R&B and pop, urban which all comes together to create a great foundation for her showcases why people got on speed dial for her to pen their songs, she is a beast and her vocals chops are so raw and beautifully raspy.
She kicks off the EP with a club banger "Keeper" that features a ratchet beat that could easily tear up the clubs, she quickly changes gears with "Jealous" which is very emotional ballad number that perfectly defines the feelings that some people go through when jealous comes to play in a relationship. Follows it up with the pop-infused number "Any Other Way" and "That Girl" is mid-tempo number that serves as a perfect break-up anthem as it features uplifting lyrics about staying strong as she deals with a relationship that is coming to an pain end, her vocals on this track are perfection, displaying so much emotion and heart.
"F*ck It" is another track that deals with a break-up but in a more liberating way, while breaking up hurts she is accepting the reality of the matter as she has done all she can to save it. She closes the impressive project with "New Sh*t" which is one sassy upbeat number that is filled with alot of confidence.
