Keshia Chante is one of those artists that has a lot of potential to be bigger than she is and leave on the music industry but for many years she seemed to be simply coasting through her career and had sounds that failed to really capture her at her best until now.
She finally arrived as artists on the music scene with the release of her new album "Unbound 02" which saw her in her elements mainly because of the shift in her sound - the dark undertones complimented her vocals so beautifully and the songwriting is very mature and direct. Especially with tracks like "Freedom", "Nothing New", "The Valley", "Rotation" and "Fuck It Tho" which is a banger with a mixture of sounds that come together so beautifully, that tune will have you in your feelings and dancing at the same time.
I'm extremely proud of her and I'm happy that she experimented with sounds that actually see her stepping out of her comfort zone and going the extra mile and coming into her own, as artist cause she is so talented and gifted, she just needed that extra push and that sound that allowed her to take a better artistic direction and this album is only the start of her legacy.
