BANKS Delivers A Very Emotionally Raw Single “Crowded Places”

Last year BANKS released her sophomore album "The Altar" which I consider to be one of the best albums to be released that year, it did respectably okay on the charts, it was just poorly promoted but overall it was a great addition to her discography. Now she returns with her newest single called  “Crowded Places,” a  melodramatic pop gem that was produced by Tim Anderson and Jack Antonoff.

“Crowded Places” is a heartbreaking ballad that sees her singing about ending a relationship before going on tour and once she finished the tour she returned home and tried to repair the relationship but the damaged was already done and he was gone:  "I know I messed with your head, It was just when I left you. When I was just blowing up when I said, remember when I loved you right before that tour. You said you didn't want to see me anymore and then when I got home when I played that show in L.A, all your shit was gone. It was the only time I thought I'd made a mistake and when I only want to hold you, I thought I wanted you to hold me."
