Sometimes artist take their time to find their voice and once they do it`s such a beautiful moment because the industry tries so hard to box certain artists and not allow them room to grow into the artist that they were meant to be.
One artist I`ve been watching as she goes through that transition as got be the Canadian songstress Keshia Chanté, who recently released her EP called "Unbound 01" which I consider to be her debut album because she has truly arrived on the music scene as the artist she`s meant to be and she`s following in the footsteps of Sevyn, Letoya Luckett , SZA and H.E.R because her delivery is direct, soulful and sultry and the production throughout the EP proves to be a great foundation for her to lay down some raw and deep lyrics.
