One of my close friends Wyatt, recommended me to watch "Big Little Lies" months ago and I simply forgot about it and when I tried to watch it and I honestly got bored with the pace of the show so I put it on pause for a later day and that day arrived and I shut down the world outside my house and watch it fully, taking each scene in and bitch it was so good.
The show blew me away as it felt like I was watching a doc-series that was not glossed up nor forced, I got to know each character and saw the painful reality of their lives. Especially Celeste Wright who was played by the extremely talented Nicole Kidman, a retired lawyer -housewife who seems to have it all: the money, beauty and with the picture-perfect family but things start to crumble as we finally see the real reality of her life as she is being controlled and abused by her husband (Perry Wright) played by Alexander Skarsgård.
Together they displayed a raw reality of people who deal with this on a daily, it`s so twisted and evil on how he tries to break her down without knowing his actions are bleeding down to his children.

This show was so worthy of all the Emmy awards it received. Kidman acted her ass off, not since "Before I Go To Sleep" have I seen her in such a raw and painfully real role, she gained my respect with this show.
