Jorja Smith Teams Up With Stormzy On Her Single “Let Me Down”

Brit-award winning songstress Jorja Smith is wasting no time in setting up 2018 to be a big year as she just released her brand new single called “Let Me Down”, that sees her teaming up with Grime rapper Stormzy. The song serves the first offering from her highly anticipated debut album "JS1" which is expected later this year.

The piano and string driven ballad was beautifully produced by Ed Thomas and Paul Epworth, Jorja laid down a very emotional vocal performance as she sings about being in a strained relationship with someone who doesn`t appreciated her nor values her as much as she does him "Sometimes, I wouldn't mind if I was less important, would you think about them all the time? wonder if you'll even notice in the morning. So where'd you go when you can't get to me and you just can't control? Sometimes, I wouldn't mind if I was less important but I've got you to let me down..."

Stormzy offers a solid verse "Time is golden, time is thin but time is rare, so we squander and that I feel your pain when I hear your voice, so fix your tone. Man, you're stronger than that and you're, like, the strongest girl I know, probably the strongest, minus my mum. Don't go wasting your loving on me..When I see tears run, I'm likely to run."
