It’s been a while since we heard any new music from Tink, but the Chicago rapper-singer has just dropped a brand new single called “Breakin’ Me” that was produced by DJ Wes & Nabeyin.
The song sees her address a very toxic relationship that finds Tink confronting a cheating lover: "Everything I did, I did it for me and you, the only thing I wanted was loyalty and the truth but everything you said was part of another lie. The way you did me wrong is something you can’t deny, when you cheated on us, man that hurt me the most. I’m like how you gone betray me for this bum ass hoe, I’m the reason that you even got your life on track..."
She went all the way in on her verses, painting a very raw and relatable reality that many of us been through, she`s so talented yet very underrated and poorly promoted. I can`t wait to see this young artist get her shine as she`s truly one of the best lyricists of this generation and has the potential to be one of the best hip hop artists of all time.
