One of my very dear friends Aaron recommended me to watch the FX show POSE which was created by created by Ryan Murphy, Brad Falchuk, and Steven Canals. The show follows rival houses competing in the ballroom scene back in the 80`s and also explores some of the ups and downs of that gay people and transgender people of colour had to face to pave way for our generation, which sometimes is taken for granted but happy this show is re-educating people on that of our history.
Ryan does a great job at giving them a voice and the character development throughout the cast is simply amazing and each episode keeps on getting better and better and better, there`s never a dull moment as the writing is extremely amazing and these actors are not scared to throw themselves in the deep end to tell these beautiful, touching, painful and realistic stories that many of us live on the daily and Billy Porter is simply a BEAST in his role as he embodies everything that Pray Tell is and has so many beautiful and raw layers to him and a range which is no wonder he got nomination for an Emmy as long with the cast which earned 6.
I highly recommend y`all to watch Pose, you will never regret it, it`s a must see.
