My Reaction Of Black Panther


I just came back from seeing Black Panther movie and what can I say ? it  was simply amazing and touched my heart so deeply as it cleverly address a topic without giving us a long history lesson as it talked about the disconnection that many African Americans have with Africa as it does with them.

They were sold off by their own people and they lost everything that they could`ve based their identity on and got stripped down to their core and it also showed the level of treatment that they face and still face of being seen as niggers not human beings even in 2018, the value of a black means nothing as it`s taken by a blink of a eye which is very sickening and sad reality we live. 

 And us as Africans never talk about the role we played in making that nightmare a reality for many of us brothers and sisters but allowing slavery to take place at the beginning, which is what the movie reflected for me and it's hard for us to accept as its hard for many African Americans to see us as their own because of that but I did love the fact it also served a message of embracing each other and standing strong in our blackness and bridging the gap to find peace in the pieces.
