R&B songstress Mariah Carey had a lot to prove when she released 'The Emancipation Of Mimi' in 2005 because years prior to this release, she hit some bumps on the road and she became the butt of many jokes ( due the release of the film 'Glitter' and her public breakdown).
When people counted her out she managed to pick herself and comeback strong with this album which is hands down her strongest musical offering to date, after "Butterfly" which was comes strong second in my opinion.
