This following look was heavily inspired by Rock chicks that love to express their own personality with edgy looks, mashing up cropped band tees and oversized denim jackets with skin-tight pants and chunky ankle boots.
Women who are not scared to showcase their sexy appeal, badassness and are free spirit and just a little unexpected. Kicked off this entire look with the selection of this logo-print pleated T-shirt dress by Givenchy, great mash-up of a branded cotton T-shirt-style top and a coated accordion-pleated skirt, this hybrid piece creates the impression of two separate garments. Added these stunning thigh-high boots by Stella McCartney, crafted with black artificial leather and have a round toe design and a white chunky rubber sole.
Followed that up with Alexander McQueen`s Prince of Wales check coat, that`s sharply tailored and features a double-breasted button fastening, long sleeves and two front flap pockets. And Valentino Garavani`s blue envelope clutch bag, that features gold-tone Rockstud detailing around it.
While we still in lockdown and also dealing with bad weather, I`m dedicated to putting together looks that inspire you beyond our current situation. Things to look forward to the future, that give you a sense of reality because these days can be very dark and saddening but I remain hopeful in better days ahead of us.
So let`s get lost in fashion and our imagination and be inspired. Selected this beautiful matching top and skirt from the legendary fashion designer Stella Mccartney, they feature a range of different colours (floral print) that complement each other and captures the spring season perfectly and has contrasting raised pleating that gives a structured movement a very feminine touch. Paired it up with these white Versace pumps that are crafted from leather with a gold-tone safety pin detail with a Medusa head motif for an extra refined touch. Added this GG Supreme mini in the mix, featuring a wrist strap, a foldover top with magnetic closure and a Tiger head detail to the front.
With the following look I kept it simple and cute, selected this floral-print blouse from Reformation. It features a black floral detailing with a white base and a V-neck cut to it. Paired it up with these classic high skinny jeans from FRAME, featuring a button and zip fly, belt loops, a five pocket design, a faded effect and a slim fit.
Followed it up with these orange Jimmy Choo sandals to make the outfit pop even more, featuring an open top design, an ankle strap with a side buckle fastening and a mid high heel. I didn`t stop there, I went on to select their elegance cactus green calf suede small Varenne shoulder bag, that is beautifully structured with silver-tone hardware on top of it. Tied everything up with spiral gold-plated hoop earrings from Bottega Veneta, they added a polished finish to this look, especially if you have your hair up in a bun or hair pushed back from the face.
For this final look, I used Balmain`s square-neck knitted mini dress as the foundation for this entire look. This pink knitted dress is so beautifully put together with embossed gold-tone buttons, a square neck, short sleeves and thigh-length. Paired it up with his black thigh-high boots that have a monogram pattern all over them and selected this green Chain Cassette shoulder bag from Bottega Veneta, it`s crafted out of leather with padded design to it and a chain-link shoulder strap. Added a 14kt yellow gold heart framed diamond ring from Mateo Bijoux and these Lavendar purple morningside sunglasses from Garrett Leight, that feature straight arms with curved tips, silver-tone stud detailing, round frames and tinted lenses.
Jumpsuits are such an understated piece of clothing that we normally ignore when shopping, yet they are the most easiest to wear and can sometimes be very chic and elegant, without doing too much, which made this following look enjoyable to put together.
Selected this bleached denim jumpsuit from the legendary and iconic British designer Stella McCartney, taken from her latest collection. This stunning jumpsuit has a relaxed fit design to it and also features a high standing collar, a concealed front fastening, multiple straps, two chest patch pockets, a belted waist, long sleeves, button cuffs, a long length and gathered ankles.
Paired it up with these edgy buckle detail boots from Balmain, that feature a pointed toe, a back zip fastening, a gold-tone buckle fastening and a tapered high heel. And added these pearl drop earrings from Chloe and tied everything up with another McCartney piece, which comes in a form of a black shoulder bag.
I love Missy Elliott and everything she stands for, she`s always been about celebrating individuality and stepping outside the box everytime she drops music and her fashions go hand in hand with her music. She`s always serving some tomboy chic, rocking some creative hairdos and huge hoops and garments that she could only rock out as she embodies so much confidence and boldness.
So when I was putting together some fashion templates/ideas I came across some items that screamed Missy and I had to put them together for the fun of it and her favorite colour is purple so it played a huge role in these look.
Kicked off this look with this purple silk shirt from Lisou, it features a contrast Naked Lady trim detail along the shoulders and sleeves. Pair it with matching trousers, that have high waisted elegant shape which effortlessly elevated from casual to smart. Added these black calf leather loafers from Gucci and love the fact that the leather made through an alternative metal, reducing the environmental footprint compared to traditional methods.
Tied everything up with Stella McCartney`s shoulder bag, that features a monogram-logo pattern spelled out in glittering crystals perfects an event-worthy velveteen crossbody trimmed with the brand's high quality alter nappa.
For the second look I selected this purple cotton blend Romance sequin embellished hoodie from Ashish, it features a hood, dropped shoulders, long sleeves and a ribbed hem and cuffs. Paired it matching trousers and these Stella McCartney`s black Elyse studded lace-up shoes, featuring a lace-up front fastening, a square toe, a platform sole, a ridged rubber sole, rounded stud embellishments, a branded insole and a logo to the back.
