A few years back I birthed a podcast called Zion`ology, which worked as my personal diary and I put it on pause because life was life-ing but I`m gonna jump back in it and have fun with yall.
Here`s the first season/first seed of mine, more to come for sure as I get back to the swing of things.
When I entered this year I came into with no expectations at all, just living in the moment and taking things day by day. Open to new things and new people and exploring the world a bit more, I took a early Birthday trip to Athens and was freaking amazing, allowing me to be still and take all the beauty that the world has to offer.
And then 16 days later, my life changed forever as I lost the biggest and the most important part of me, which is my mother Louisa, who passed away the early morning of April 16st.
Rick Owens is a Paris-based American fashion designer from Porterville, California and he.is best known for his definitive menswear designs, taking the direction of dark glamor and ‘gothic grunge’. Since its launch in 1994, the label has garnered a dedicated following of its statement lines and designs of signature slim-fit leather jackets, distinctive shoes, sneakers, and asymmetrical silhouettes, all of which draw inspiration from post-apocalyptic influences.
I recently celebrated my 30th birthday and it was nothing short of amazing, kicked it off with a great conversation with a few of my dear friends, who presented me with great gifts and company. And they also offered me some great advice when it came to styling myself, they truly captured the vision I had for my outfit and once that was done I headed out to Hyde Park for a little photo session.
Brown is one of most unappreciated colours, due to the fact that many people view it as ugly, dated and dull but that mindset has been changing more and more as fashion designers push the boundaries of fashion with different shades of brown and different cuts. Fashion houses like Fendi mainly uses brown as the foundation of their many designs from PVC coats to suede midi skirts and monogrammed sweaters, capturing the retro vibe that surely comes with the colour.
And more designers are following in their footsteps, like Burberry and Dolce & Gabbana whom I used as the inspiration behind the following look.
In 2016, Italian designers Giorgia Tordini and Gilda Ambrosio decided to teamed up and create the fashion/lifestyle brand called "The Attico", which was inspired by classic peignoirs robes - expect lots of color, texture and embellishment.
‘Attico started around a specific item – the robe. Now we are showing the world around and inspired by it. We are narrating an aesthetic – Attico is more than just clothes, it’s a lifestyle. We are inspired by so many things. We love vintage design and antique furniture. We love certain movies from the 1960s and 1970s. Muses from different cities around the world. Muses from the past and women of the future. We are always inspired by these incredible women with great personality and style like Cher, Charlotte Rampling, Jerry Hall, Bianca Jagger or the actresses of the Hollywood golden era like Marlene Dietrich, Ginger Rogers and Lauren Bacall. It’s not something we can pinpoint. For us, inspiration comes always, from everywhere.’
Christopher Kane is Scottish fashion designer based in London, who works hand in hand with his sister Tammy on their brand named after him. And together have created some of the most electrifying and vibrate pieces of clothing with abstract and personal touch to them and showcase alot of femininity and class. Christopher wants people to feel powerful and empowered in his clothing "You feel confident, and the clothes should always make you feel like that."
Women in power suits are extremely sexy, especially red ones as that colour is so bold, vibrate and it definitely makes a statement when you are suited up. Every wardrobe needs a two piece suit . It is an outfit for any occasion and a great alternative to wearing a dress or jumpsuit.
In 2017 Josephine Bergqvist and Livia Schück birthed fashion label "Rave Review" which is very eco-friendly as each piece of clothing is solely made from upcycled garments and pre-existing materials. "Our vision is to become one of the first high-end fashion lines with a circular business model, using only recycled and recyclable materials. The main idea behind the brand is to show how creative and fun remaking can be. The strength of the concept allows building a brand around it. We believe that both upcycling and remaking hold huge promises for the future of the fashion industry."
I used one of their beautiful garments as the foundation of this following look.
Designer Marine Serre is best known for her avant-garde pieces that see her combing edgy sportwear with cultural influences, codes with feminine silhouettes and a couture-inspired sensibility, that offer a truly forward-thinking output. And we have seen the likes of Ariana Grande, Beyoncé, Adele, Kylie Jenner, Tracee Ellis Ross, Dua Lipa, Melina Matsoukas and others have donned her pieces.
I had to use her as the foundation for this following look as her work is extremely amazing and out of the box.
Last year I came across this fashion brand called SVNX, which is based in Manchester and creates some of the most dopest streetwear and lifestyle infused accessories, that are so trendy, stylish and bold. And I love that most of their items because blur the line between genders, having a great unisex appeal and edge to them.

Colombian designer Johanna Ortiz, creates some of the most inspiring pieces of clothing that beautifully captures the essence of women, very much feminine, elegant, vibrate and rich patterns that are very refreshing and fun.
Kenya Moore is always wearing a range of different colours that compliment her skin tone beautifully and one of those colours is PINK, which is one of the most girly and feminine colours and there is also something very incredibly elegant and understated with it as well.
I used her look as a huge inspiration for the following look.
This collaboration between Byronesque and Gareth Pugh proved to be a success as together they managed to revives the unique work of the iconic French designer Claude Montana. Reissuing some of the designer’s best pieces, spanning 1979-’94.

Selected this vest top from Balmain, which features embossed gold-tone buttons going down on the front of the vest with a very cute gingham-check pattern, creating great combination that makes this top simply G-L-A-M-O-R-O-U-S. Paired it up with his acid wash skinny jeans that have a great faded appeal to them and Alexander McQueen`s stunning butterfly applique sandals, featuring crystal embellishments, an ankle strap with a side buckle fastening and a high stiletto heel.Finished this look up with Mondo Mondo`s drop earrings, featuring green and blue stone detailing and another Balmain piece which comes in a form of a pink tote bag, fitting all your essentials with class and style.
