Yesterday I had a great conversation with my mother and asked about the greatest lesson she has learned in her life of living and she said that she learned that she "The greatest lesson I`ve learned in my life, is something I learned later in life which s that I gave people way too much of myself and put themselves and forgot about myself, I gave and gave because I love my family yet I never receive the same love back nor get appreciate for it. So I`m learning that I need to refocus on myself and you and your sister and be more selfish over my time and money."
My mother has always been a people please and goes extra harder for her family and people have become so used to her playing that role that they never took the time to appreciate her. And I told her that she is appreciated and loved and the greatest lesson I`ve learned from her is to be more comfortable within my own skin and own my individuality and life is way too short to not be yourself and I`m so thankful that she accepts me as I am.
