Missy Elliott Will Receive Michael Jackson Video Vanguard Award At 2019 VMAs

It’s official, Missy Elliott will be receiving the Michael Jackson Video Vanguard Award at the 2019 VMAs. MTV just made the announcement today and not only will she be receiving the prestigious honor but she will be performing her groundbreaking hits for the very first time in 16 years, on August 26th.


This award has been a long time coming as she always represented what the award stands for and always pushed herself to deliver some groundbreaking visuals that take her music to the next level and display her creativity so fearlessly and boldly. So congratulations Missy Elliott.
